Our Objectives

The AFFP Family Medicine Interest Group will pursue the following:

• Be a teaching organization, where leadership, encouragement and clinical skills can be pursue outside the classroom

• Be a source of connection between medical students, faculty and community

• Increase awareness and educate medical students about family medicine

• Create workshops and other activities for medical students to practice procedures commonly used in family medicine

• Incorporate and learn about research in family medicine

• Engage in philanthropic work
